Tempo Primo Co., Ltd. was established in April 2009, as a classical music agency.
We mainly operate a business engaging the most active and top musicians around the world. We have invited a large number of international music groups and soloists for performing in concerts in Japan. We also manage concerts for Japanese soloists.
The name of the company ‘Tempo Primo (Tempo I)’ is a musical terminology, which means “going back to the original tempo”. Almost in every piece of music, the tempo changes as the music goes through dramatic transformations. However, once “Tempo I” appears, all the previous tempo markings are no longer observed, and the music immediately returns to the initial tempo. It is just like the moment that when the waves of the open sea regain the original serenity, the water brings itself to the initial state of balance, and the peace takes over the violence in the blink of an eye.
When I established the company in 2009, I decided that I will always keep my mind open, no matter how many challenges would be ahead. “Going back to the starting point” wholeheartedly represents the company’s name ‘Tempo Primo’.Through the art of music, I have experienced many trembling and magical moments that deeply moved my heart. In return, I dedicate myself to propagation and advancement of music into the society. I will exert my utmost effort for the artists, for the audience and also for the overall growth of the cultural and the artistic accomplishments.
